Meg Manion Silliker is her name ~ a loving mother, wife, and photographer. I met Meg a few years ago, completely unaware of the amazing journey we were yet to embark on. What started as a bland senior portrait session quickly turned into a vogue-inspired, editorial-esque photo shoot. Since that late autumn day, we have continued to push each other forward in our talents and create images that are original and inspiring.

Meg is a natural light photographer - she uses the natural sunlight to capture deep, human emotion - further revealing the beauty of imperfections. Meg's photographs are crisp and simple, yet full of life. Each image shares an unwritten story. Her effortless personal style and passion for photography has inspired me to express myself in ways that I was unable to prior to our first meeting. When I am in front of Meg’s lens, I feel that every ounce of life has somehow been taken out of me and made vulnerable to be captured and easily revealed. I feel a strong connection to Meg and her camera – like fate brought us together. I am a stronger, more sincere young woman since discovering Meg and my newfound talent that SHE was able to find in me.

Meg, you have done so much more for me than you will ever understand. You believed in me when no one else would. You have shown me how to believe in myself. You have shown me how to be me – in front of and behind the lens. Being your muse is one of the greatest gifts I have ever received. I am forever grateful. XOXO
